Question 1: What’s in your current sneaker rotation?
Shafiq : AMM 4s, Carmine 6s ( 2014 pair), chicago 10s ( not the double nickels), gumbo kobe 9s, kuwata salehe bembury crocs, nike sb dunk low paisley, nike dunk low fossil rose, nike dunk low cider, air jordan 1 pine green 2.0 & a pair of space hippie 4s.

Shafiq: A Ma Maniere 4s
Question 3: What is your fave sneaker you currently own?
Shafiq: Kobe 9 Gumbo or Carmines lol my profile pic lol but I've been waiting for lightning 4s since 06. Can't wait for Mist and Tour 4s to retro.
Question 4: What is your must-have grail?
Shafiq: Paranorman or Galaxy foamposites. I could give a 10 piece of sneakers i want though just lmk.
Question 5: What got you started in the sneaker game?
Shafiq: My dad didn't live with me growing up but gave me some jays as a present when I was growing up. He gave me 2 pair of black and red sneakers, so the second pair my mom traded for a blue pair (obsidian 12s) that matched an outfit me and my younger sister had. Always wanted shoes and always did anything to get them after that. From posting up overnight, instore raffles, donation entries, Craigslist trades, or betting Madden and smash bros for sneakers. I even did a 24-hour trip to Vermont from Virginia to win a pair of ben and jerry dunks that wasn't my size during covid.
Question 6: What's something that most people don't know about you?
Shafiq: Always was late to the social media platforms, thought only people who needed to know me were my good friends (even though that can be plenty) so I didn't decide to show off my sneakers until covid started. That's when I got on twitter and instagram. I've probably had 500 pairs of sneakers or so over the last 15 years. Wish i would of started this youtube/IG back then but never too late right? Oh and I hate watermelon, cherries, and tomato.
Question 7 (optional): What do you do for a living?
Shafiq: I'm the Catering Manager of Virginia for a restaurant called Founding Farmers. They have 6 locations in the DMV and one in Pennsylvania. I think I'm good with people so that's how I got into that field. I enjoy talking to ppl about like minded things that ppl like. Shoes, food, movies, games, etc.

Shafiq: I'm Fiqnsneaks on youtube with videos every Wednesday and Saturday and shorts daily. Fiqnsneaks on IG, Twitter, and somehow Tiktok as well and Fiqyfreakydona on snapchat. Just hoping my hobby eventually pays for itself and then I'll really cop grails for me and others.
